Hey! You don't know me, and I'm afraid I'm gonna come off as a creeper, and I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post this, but...

I'm new to roleplaying and have been looking for a multi-fandom one. This one caught my attention, but I didn't know what character I wanted to play, so I browsed the taken characters and noticed there was a Stephen... which made me kind of want to play Joseph.

But I also noticed that you're playing pre!vol 5 Stephen, so what I guess I wanted to do was just... make sure it was okay with you before I applied?

Sorry if I come across as super awkward, I'm just really new to this and don't want to come off as rude or anything adsjff! :O

You have no idea how awesome this just made my day! I had been thinking for a while how awesome it would be to have a Joseph in Poly. I was the only Scott Pilgrim character for a while, but we just got a Young Neil this month. Having a Joseph would MAKE MY LIFE!

I chose Stephen before he started going out with Joseph because I wanted to play around with his coming out and sexual identity crisis, so having an actual Joseph do to that with would be SO COOL.

Even if you decide against Joseph, Poly is a really really awesome roleplay. I'm sure you will fit in great here.

Do you like to torture Stephen? (who doesn't? x3) Because I was thinking of maybe bringing in vol 6!Joseph for extra awkwardness and hilarity. What do you think?

Having Joseph from a later canon date might be interesting. Although I don't know if I'd want Joseph to full-out just say 'in the future we're dating'. Maybe Joseph will work out that it's past!Stephen, and tread lightly around him. I guess I'm just enjoying playing Stephen realising his own sexuality slowly, and I think if someone just came in and told him he's gay, that might ruin the flow of it. I DUNNO MAN! OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS! :-D

Oh yeah, I totally agree with you that it would be kinda lame to come in and be all like "HAI BABEH BTW YOUR GAY IN THE FUTURE NOW KISS ME 8U". It would be fun if Joseph got that he was from a later date then Stephen and then kind of had to wait the whole thing out all over again and be all frustrated about it. XD Or I could just take him from around the same time as Stephen, I really haven't decided anything yet.

Oh please DO be needy, it makes me feel like less of a dork for being needy myself. XD

I haven't even started on the app yet, I've been kind of busy these past days. I'm hoping to get it done next week. But yes! Recording! Joseph should totally do it! XD

And now I feel like a total retard, but a mun is... the person who plays the character? 8D;; ...I'm new at this, and that is my excuse, haha. <:D; ...also, I had to uninstall AIM because it was running really slow and kept freezing. :( Imma try Messenger instead!

Yeah, Mun stands for Mundane, meaning the person who plays the character. Dear-Mun is a community where you can have your character talk to your Mun, but it's also just a comm where people can sort of free-form roleplay. I'm totally excited to see your Joseph, so we should totally roleplay sometime before you're done your app! It really helps get a grips on the character voice.

I also thought I'd let you know. In terms of icons, both Young Neil and I use the actors from the movie, so it might be a bit weird if you come in with drawings from the comic. You still totally could if you can, but it might be better to pick an actor/musician/random beardy person to be your Joseph and get icons of them. I can totally help with making icons, too! I'm not bad at it!

Hey! Still being a stalker! I also just wanted to let you know that we are having a fourth wall day on the 19th this month. That's a day where anyone can come and post without being a member of poly. If you don't think you're going to be apping before then, then it would be awesome to see you there!
